What a miraculous week! James (one of our awesome investigators) came to church, which is 2 weeks in a row! He walked 20 minutes in the freezing cold to get to church. He stayed for all 3 hours of church and even participated in class! Goodness he is amazing.
Me and Sister Fernandez were reaching out to an investigator that we haven't heard from in a while. We prayed about a scripture to send him and found Ether 12:4. We sent it to him and then got on the LRT to go home for the night. We split off to talk to different people and I started talking to this guy. We started talking about church and what his service had been on. He said they talked about hoping for a better world. I pulled up Ether 12:4 because it applied perfectly to the situation! He asked if it was from the Book of Mormon. I was shocked and told him yes. He said he had been talking with missionaries and hasn't responded because he got busy but felt like it was a sign that he should reach out to them and read the scriptures! He thought it was cool that it was on my tablet so I showed him how to download it on his phone! The Lord works in mysterious ways:)
The investigator we sent the scripture to ended up responding and asked if we could meet up with him! It was two amazing miracles because of one scripture we felt prompted to share! The Book of Mormon is such a miracle!
