Chopped💇‍♀️

To explain the caption...last week, my comp asked me to cut her hair and being the good comp I am I said I would! Her hair is super curly (pro tip: if curly hair is wet, cut it way longer than what you expect) and it was wet so it was straight and pretty long. She asked me to cut it to about her shoulders so I put a towel over her shoulder and made the first cut. It was quite a bit shorter than she wanted it so I told her not to worry I would just cut the rest longer and she could pin that piece back. I kept cutting with the help of my other comp confirming it was the right length that she wanted it. In the end all of it was the same length as the first piece and I'm honestly not sure how that happened. Luckily she thought it was super cute and didn't want to kill me! This is why you don't want to live with your hairdresser:)

The pits of the pits...

Hellooo!

This week someone told us that Alberta was the pits of Canada and that Fort McMurray was the pits of Alberta so we are in the pits of the pits hahaha! I would have to disagree with them though because I absolutely love it here! It was a slower week here with lots of tracting and only 1 lesson but that means we were able to talk to more people!

Behold, I say unto you, "Neigh"

Another great week in the great white north!

The other day we were reading the Book of Mormon with a less-active family. We were reading Alma 32 because one of them is struggling with faith. We got to verse 18 and in it it says "Nay" and after he read it he asked what that meant. I was trying to explain that it was just saying no in old english and then one of my companions just started neighing like a horse. We all had a pretty good laugh about that.

Colour me RAD
