The gift of hands (tongues) is real👐

Hello!

This week we went on a 3 day exchange with the travelling sisters and it was quite fun! For one of the days I was with Sister Hall and we went on the LRT (which is the best way to FIND people). When we go on the LRT we don't usually sit by our companion so I sat across from a YSA girl and asked how her day was. She didn't respond so I asked her again and she looked at me confused and then motioned that she was deaf. I started contemplating about if I should sign to her or not because my sign language is SO rusty. The spirit kept prompting me to sign so I started with the few things I remembered. As soon as I started signing all my worries went away and we had a conversation for almost 40 minutes! At the end she wasn't interested but she was so happy I talked to her because once people find out she is deaf they usually just stop trying. I am so happy I was able to talk to her! The gift of hands (tongues) is real for sure :)

"10/10 would recommend"

Hey there!

After transfers this last week, Sister Howe and I were very glad to be staying together in the wonderful Whitemud Creek YSA ward.

Colten asked that we teach his friend this week so we met with them and taught him the Plan of Salvation. The lesson didn't go as well as Colten had wanted because his friend was very uninterested the whole time, but he texted us that night to let us know how he thought it went. In his texts to us he said, "I will invite more friends for you to teach, 10/10 would recommend Sister Moon and Sister Howe" (I included a pic for proof because pics or it didn't happen amiright?) That text helped brighten our week and he has continued to invite his friends to take the discussions! It was also an amazing lesson because he testified to his friend and he realized that he has more of a testimony than what he thought!

Mad Women!

Hello again!

This week was so good but so crazy all in one! I had the craziest day on my mission so far! We had 7 lessons in one day and we were driving around like mad women! 7 lessons may not seem like a lot to some people but I am used to only having one or 2 a week so this was major!

One of the lessons was with one of our investigators on date for April 7th. We taught him the Plan of Salvation and he kept talking about how loved he felt and he kept saying he just felt filled. It was amazing to see his excitement when hearing about this amazing Plan we have!

"We aren't done yet! Tell me a story about Jesus!"

Hello!

We had an absolutely MIRACULOUS week! We had a passover lesson with one of our investigators and at the end we asked him to pray. He enthusiastically said, "We aren't done yet! Tell me a story about Jesus!" It has been so cool to see his excitement for the gospel! We brought this Less active we have been working with to the lesson because he served a mission French speaking and he was able to translate! We also had supper with Colten (this Less active) this week and we shared the Will of God video. The lesson went really well and he texted us the next day and told us he is going to quit smoking because that's what he feels God wants him to do even though the night before he told us he can't see himself quitting!
