Hello :)We had another exciting week here in Whitemud Creek! I will start with the bad news...many of our favourite couples in the ward broke up. Me and Sister Howe were so sad!

This was such an eventful week! At the beginning of the week the elders called us up and told us they have some solid potentials for us. We met at Starbucks for our lesson and met this YSA couple. They pulled out their bibles and we taught them the Restoration. It was going really well until...the boyfriend started bashing and told us he has read the Book of Mormon and prayed and God told him that he needed to let us know it was wrong. We asked him why is was wrong but he couldn't give us an answer. We kindly finished the lesson and left. The Book of Mormon is too good!
Hello again!
We had an absolutely MIRACULOUS week! We had a passover lesson with one of our investigators and at the end we asked him to pray. He enthusiastically said, "We aren't done yet! Tell me a story about Jesus!" It has been so cool to see his excitement for the gospel! We brought this Less active we have been working with to the lesson because he served a mission French speaking and he was able to translate! We also had supper with Colten (this Less active) this week and we shared the Will of God video. The lesson went really well and he texted us the next day and told us he is going to quit smoking because that's what he feels God wants him to do even though the night before he told us he can't see himself quitting!
Hello my wonderful family and friends!
I don't speak Spanish, but as far as I know that means "the world is CRAZY". This is what my companions and I came to realize this week...one of my companions had to go to the doctor this week so while we were waiting we texted a bunch of formers in the phone. By doing this we got 6 appointments set up! MIRACLE. One of them is named Susan and she is an old lady who calls us every night to tell us about her day for at least 20 minutes. She is quite a joy.
What a week :) I got 2 wonderful new companions and an amazing area this week! I am with Sister Baloo, who goes home to sunny Arizona next transfer. And Stister Howe, from California, who we get to finish training! I am serving in a different part of Edmonton in the Whitemud Creek YSA which is in the RIVERBEND stake wahoo! I am sure sad to have such a short time in Gateway but Whitemud is amazing and I'm so excited to be here! This week was really exciting! We had zone conference, exchanges, and volunteered at a colour run (it was called colour me rad). All of th...
